How To Make Super-fast Prawn Noodles

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 300g prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 200g noodles (your choice)
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped spring onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. Heat oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sliced onion, and cook until fragrant.

  3. Add prawns and cook until they turn pink and are cooked through. Remove prawns from the pan and set aside.

  4. In the same pan, add sliced bell pepper and cook for a few minutes until slightly softened.

  5. Return the prawns to the pan and add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and chili flakes (if using). Stir well to coat everything evenly.

  6. Add the cooked noodles to the pan and toss until they are well coated with the sauce and heated through.

  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped spring onions.
